Every designer wants to be in a band

Of course, like any another creative, we secretely long to be a rock and roll star. All of us want to be part of a band…
Last night the Friday Night Shift Band rocked it out at the KAM building for its first practice round…

Robert Ruehlman follows the beat.

Anna Zylicz provides the classical tune.

Gretchen Rinnert hits the blues.

Marty Lane shakes, shakes, shakes senora.

Bryan Rinnert writes the mood.

This was great fun last night. It was an energetic, creative, and inspiring experience. I’m sorry I missed out on the Band portion of the night…but I did get chance to perfect the writing of “s” in light!
I am a music snob and I approve this message!
When does your CD drop?
i agree with rebecca completely. i think this is going to be a great way to begin the symposium — the writing, maybe not the band part! it is interesting how this collaborative project is also allowing us to investigate our individual interests. totally pumped.
So when’s your next gig? Maybe i can come down to NC and check it out live. I’m sure the live version is much better.
Neat! I love it! I think if I were there, I would have wanted to jam on the Kazoo… can you do electric kazoo?
Very nicely done …
